Adam and Kev Photography was founded in 2008 as a creative partnership between Adam Schelle and Kev Holloway. While the studio now operates under the sole direction of Kev, the established name, philosophy, and high production standards remain unchanged.
Supported by a trusted network of producers, crew, and creative collaborators, the studio excels at navigating the complex logistical and production demands of major public sector organizations, crown corporations, and national brands.
Our commercial work is grounded in environmental portraiture, lifestyle narrative, and technical precision.
Beyond commercial commissions, we develop and execute long-form creative projects that explore human connection, authenticity, and community identity.
Select Studio Projects:
So It Is: Vancouver: A definitive portrait series and large-format coffee table book documenting the diverse stories and subcultures of Vancouverites in a rapidly shifting urban landscape.
STRONG: A two-year documentary photography initiative based in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. The studio hosted free monthly portrait sessions, focusing on creating powerful, authentic, and dignified representations of DTES residents.
Playground.is: A live, interactive music event series co-founded by the studio. Setting up in non-traditional venues, the project brought artists and the public together to rehearse, perform, and record a track and accompanying documentary film all within a single night.
